The 34-year-old speedster met Mashoom in an after-party at a time when he represented Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals in 2010. After four years of relationship, the couple decided to tie knot in 2014.
The big question on that probably will come in the fans' minds is "Does that make him eligible to represent Indian cricket team?" just like Eoin Morgan (Ireland and England), Dirk Nannes (Netherlands and Australia).
However, the ICC rules state that he needs 4 years after his last international performance to represent another country. The 34-year-old last made his international appearance in 2016 against India and is currently retired from all forms of First Class cricket to only focus on prolonging his T20 career, considering his playing style and injury records.
Tait, widely regarded as one of the most dangerous bowlers, made his debut for Australia in Test format way back in 2005 followed by ODI debut in 2007. He went on to represent Australia in three Test matches and 35 ODIs.
He is fondly remembered for bowling the second-fastest delivery in cricket history when he clocked 161.1 kmph.
In 2011, Tait pulled curtains down on his ODI career after Australia lost to India in limited formats World Cup, limiting himself only to T20 format.
