Dambulla: Bangladeshi seamer Taskin Ahmed on Tuesday became the fifth bowler from his country to claim a hat-trick in one-day internationals.
The incident happened in the final over of Sri Lanka's innings in the 2nd ODI played at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium.
Batting on 35, Asela Gunaratne first hit Taskin for a boundary and then hit the next ball to the fielder at mid-off. Next batsman Suranga Lakmal mistimed a short ball towards mid-off where Mustafizur Rahman held on to a good catch.
On a hat-trick, Taskin bowled a brilliant yorker to next batsman Nuwan Pradeep who was clean bowled.
