New Delhi: Noted India sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik hails from the eastern land of Bhubaneswar, Odisha. His marvellous craft is world famous and he has been awarded several times for his immense contribution in the respective field of art.
The genius recently attempted to make world's longest sand Buddha on the occasion of Vesak or Buddha Purnima which was on May 10, 2017. He made the sand art on 14th International Vesak Day celebrations at Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Pattnaik created a 40ft long sand Buddha on a special day marking the birth of lord Buddha. The sand art sculpture is now open for visitors in Colombo.
