Mumbai: Internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has been expressing his support to the central government’s demonetisation drive ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the citizens of the country on November 8.
The PM had announced his decision to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currencies in order to fight black money and eradicate corruption. And now, with an aim to rid India of corruption and make transactions hassle free, the PM has asked the citizens to opt for cashless modes of payment.
Pattnaik’s latest sand art at the famous Puri beach reflects the same idea. Through his art, Pattnaik’s wishes to inspire people to ‘Join hands for a #CashlessIndia’.
