NEW DELHI: The national capital witnessed a foggy weather early on Sunday, leading to the cancellation of at least 19 trains and rescheduling of seven others.
Nearly a dozen trains were also running late due to the heavy fog, the ANI reported.
Delhi has witnessed cold and foggy weather conditions over the past two days.
On Saturday, the minimum temperature was 7.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average. At least eight trains were cancelled and 15 delayed due to the fog.
According to the India Meteorological Department, the visibility stood at 2,500 metres and humidity was 73 percent at 8.30 am on Saturday.
Friday's minimum temperature was 9.4 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature settled at 25.2 degrees Celsius.
Cold and foggy weather conditions are likely to remain in Delhi till Monday, the IMD said on its website.
