Delhi school cab driver allegedly molests 5-year-old; arrested

NEW DELHI: A driver of a private school cab allegedly molested a five-year-old child in Delhi. 

The 39-year-old driver was arrested under POCSO Act on Tuesday, said the police.

The incident took place in Rohini's Shahbad Dairy area.

The girl told her mother on Monday that she does not wish to go to school as the van driver does "bad things" to her, added police.

The girl's mother approached police following which a case was registered.

Earlier in August, a six-year-old child with special needs was molested by her school cab driver in southwest Delhi.

Last month, a driver of a private cab aggregator allegedly molested and threatened a 25-year-old businesswoman in the national capital.
