Masked man loots Rs 1.5 lakh from Oriental Bank of Commerce in Delhi's Tilak Nagar, probe on

An unidentified man, wearing a mask, looted Rs 1.5 Lakhs from the Oriental Bank of Commerce in Delhi's Tilak Nagar locality on Wednesday (February 12, 2020).

NEW DELHI: An unidentified man, wearing a mask, looted Rs 1.5 Lakh from the Oriental Bank of Commerce in Delhi's Tilak Nagar locality on Wednesday (February 12, 2020).

According to Delhi Police, a masked man, who was wearing a black jacket and blue trouser, entered the bank after overpowering the security guard, collected the cash on gunpoint from the bank cashier and then immediately fled from the spot the cash. 

A case has been registered and efforts are underway to arrest him. Delhi Police have also formed multiple teams to investigate the case.

The police are also trying to obtain the video footage of the CCTV installed at the bank to identify the robber. 

Local police stations near Tilak Nagar have also been informed about the robbery incident and a keep vigil is being kept on suspicious people.
