New Delhi: Water supply will be affected in south and east Delhi on October 15 and 16.
The water supply will get affected due to high ammonia level in Yamuna River.
Earlier in January 2017, water supply was hit in vast parts of central, north Delhi due to “dangerously high” levels of ammonia in raw water.
DJB plants treat around 900 million gallons of water per day (MGD), of which Wazirabad and Chandrawal plants account for about 220 MGD.
