There will be no sale of platform tickets from Thursday (October 27) to November 5 at major stations in Delhi Division, including New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin.

New Delhi: There will be no sale of platform tickets from Thursday (October 27) to November 5 at major stations in Delhi Division, including New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin.

According to Northern Railway, there will be no sale of platform tickets at major stations including Old Delhi, New Delhi, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Sarai Rohilla and Anand Vihar terminals from October 27 to Novemeber 5 this year due to Diwali and Chhat festival rush.

However, persons coming to stations to assist the aged and lady passengers who are not in a position to fend for themselves at the railway station will be exempted from such restriction.

Northern Railway has pressed many special trains to clear the festival rush.
