Petrol, diesel prices hiked: City wise price list

New Delhi: Oil companies on Friday hiked the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs 2.21 and Rs 1.79 a litre respectively exclusive of state levies.

The hiked by oil companies comes in the wake of global oil prices going over $50-mark earlier this week.

To be effective from Saturday, petrol will now cost Rs 68.94 in Delhi while diesel will cost Rs 56.68 in the national capital.

Given below is the city-wise price list of petrol and diesel post the hike by Indian Oil Corporation.

Petrol price:

Delhi - Rs 68.94

Kolkata - Rs 71.50

Mumbai - Rs 75.27

Chennai - Rs 68.41

Diesel price:

Delhi - Rs 56.68

Kolkata - Rs 58.92

Mumbai - Rs 62.40

Chennai - Rs 58.28
