New Delhi: What could be termed of the biggest cache of fake Indian currency notes seized so far, the Special Cell of Delhi Police busted a racket and seized Rs 18 lakh fake currency in new notes.
ANI on Saturday said, “ Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested 3 persons with counterfeit new currency notes worth Rs 18 lakh”.
Earlier this month, the crime branch team in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, had busted the fake notes racket by first arresting a class IV employee of the Government Medical College and Hospital, and seized 18 fake currency notes of Rs 2,000 denomination from him. The city police also seized high quality colour printers and ink from a hideout in a residence.
