For the Academic Session 2023-24, CUET (PG) – 2023 was conducted in bilingual mode -- English and Hindi -- in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode between June 5, 2023, and July 6, 2023.
The National Testing Agency conducted the Common University Entrance Test (PG) – 2023 for about 4,58,774 candidates and administered 877492 tests.
A total of 197 Universities including 39 Central Universities, 45 State Government Universities, 10 Government Institutions and 103 Private and Deemed Universities, participated in CUET (PG) – 2023.
In addition to 279 cities in India, CUET (PG) - 2023 examination was also conducted in seven cities outside India namely Doha, Dubai, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, and Bagmati.
CUET-PG provides a single window opportunity to students seeking admission in any of the Central Universities (CUs) or other participating organizations (including State Universities, Deemed and Private Universities) across India, especially those from rural and other remote areas and helps establish better connections with the Universities.
A single examination enables the candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various Central Universities and other participating Universities.
In order to ensure more participation from the candidates throughout India and to facilitate them, THE NTA opened CUET-PG 2023 examination help centres to ensure awareness and to help provide equal opportunities to the candidates, especially from rural and remote areas.
The Centres were opened in Kamrup, Amritsar, Kota, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Mumbai, Ernakulam, Trivandrum, Durg, Khurda, Chennai, Chittoor, Ambikapur, West Champaran, Ghaziabad, Bengaluru, Malajgiri, Kurnool, Malda, Kangra, Vijayawada, Leh, Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, Pulwama, Ahmedabad, Kollam, Bilaspur, and Narsinghar.
Each Centre had one dedicated Technical person in charge who helped the candidates in filling the application form online. This helpline service was provided free of cost.
