TNBSE 10th SSLC Results 2017: Tamil Nadu Board (tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.nic.in) Class 10th SSLC Result 2017 is likely to be declared on May 19

Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) will declare TNBSE, SSLC Results 2017, 10th result 2017, TN SSLC Result 2017, TN 10th Result 2017, TN 10th Class Results 2017, 10th TN Result, TNBSE SSLC Result, Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2017 on May 19.

Tamil Nadu Class 12 examinations were declared by the Directorate of Government Examinations on May 12.  

To be noted is the fact that the board has abolished the practice of disclosing toppers name.

It has been done to save students from 'stress'.

About TNBSE:

The Government of Tamil Nadu constituted a new Board for School Examination viz “State Board of School Examinations” by merging the two separate boards - Board of Secondary Education and Board of Higher Secondary Examinations dated 16.02.2011.

The Directorate of Government Examinations was formed as a separate directorate in February 1975. Prior to the formation of Directorate Of Government Examinations, the then DPI/DSE was the ex-officio commissioner for government exams and the department was having its office at Madras only.

This directorate has 7 Regional offices at Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli , Chennai, Cuddalore and Vellore.

Apart from the academic stream examination in academic fields, this department is conducting various vocational stream examinations.

At present this department in conducting exams for about 25 lakh students every year.
