Mahindra BE.05, BE.07, BE.09, XUV.e8, XUV.e9 Electric SUVs announced; launch in 2024

Mahindra has launched two new brands, namely Mahindra BE and Mahindra XUV with five new SUVs under these brands, three for BE, and two for XUV to be launched in the Indian market.

New Mahindra Electric SUVs

Mahindra has announced two new brands under the Indian automaker in the form of 'twin peaks electrified' aka Mahindra XUV and Mahindra BE along with the INGLO electric platform. The new brands come with five new models with three under BE and two under Mahindra XUV electric. The new models under BE are named BE.05, BE.07, and BE.09, while models under Mahindra XUV are named Mahindra XUV.e9 and Mahindra XUV.e8. The first of these new cars is expected to launch by the end of 2024. Moreover, the new electric SUVs from BE will be based on the new INGLO electric platform by the company. The SUVs under Mahindra XUV will be based on XUV700, while XUV.e8 is SUV, and XUV.e9 is Coupe.

The INGLO platform has been designed to be safer, provide fast charging along with more power, and fit with all kinds of body designs. The platform will provide the future SUVs with 60-80 kWh battery and 175 kW fast charge with capacity charge battery from 0-80 per cent in 30 minutes. It is to be noted that the SUVs based on this platform under the BE brand will have a completely new design language to target new consumers. Furthermore, these SUVs will be loaded with modern features like ADAS and self-parking along with a host of modern equipment inside the cabin.

Mahindra BE.05

The Mahindra BE.05 will be a comparatively small SUV based on the INGLO platform. The SUV will have a completely new racing-inspired bold design design language with the 'spirit of Mahindra' to target a new section of customers.

Mahindra BE.07

Mahinda BE.07 will be an SUV with a slightly bigger size compared to BE.05 and again based on the same INGLO platform. The SUV will be buffed with modern features inside the cabin. Furthermore, the SUVs design language reflects what the future of Mahindra electric cars will be.

Mahindra BE.09

Mahindra BE.09 is the third SUV announced by the automaker today under its new brand. The SUV seems to be bigger than earlier models with what seems to be a hint of a hint a hybrid design.

Mahindra XUV.e8

The Mahinda SUV.e8 will probably be the first of these electric SUVs to be launched in the Indian market under the new brand with a copper twin peaks logo. The new SUV will be based on the Mahindra XUV700 although will have more advanced features and cabin to complement the new heritage.

Mahindra XUV.e9

The Mahindra XUV.e9 will be an electric coupe based on the Mahindra XUV700. The new will be launched in the Indian market with the same copper twin peaks logo and features on par with modern cars.
