Lucknow, july 17: Six people were killed and four others seriously injured when dacoits of the notorious Ambika Patel gang struck in a village in Chirtakoot district this morning, reports reaching the state police headquarters here said. The docoits gang attacked the house of one Omnath Patel in village Baghaiya in Bharatpurva police station area this morning and opened fire killing three persons on the spot.
Later they set the house on fire resulting in the death of one woman and two children who were hiding inside, reports said adding that four others injured in the incident were rushed to a local hospital. Bureau Report.
