Srinagar, July 05: Border Security Force today smashed a militant hideout in the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir, seizing 20 kgs of explosives, a BSF spokesman said. The hideout, set up by militants at Uragali, was raided by the BSF on a specific intelligence input in the wee hours, the spokesman said.
In addition to explosives, BSF troops recovered a wireless set, two anti-tank grenades, eight rifle grenades, two AK magazines and other arms and ammunition, he said.
Meanwhile, an unidentified male body was found at village Wanidoorus in Kupwara this morning, police sources said, adding a team has been sent to the village to begin investigation. Bureau Report
