Bangkok, Aug 17: Thai Airways will fly to new destinations in India and abroad and increase the frequency of flights on other routes after acquiring a new fleet comprising 15 aircraft worth 57 billion baht. "The airline will launch a number of new routes by year end, with new destinations, including Bangalore and Dubai," Thai Airways executive vice president Tasnai Sudasna told reporters yesterday. The airline was gearing to increase the frequency of flights on high potential routes to European destinations such as Britain, Germany, France and Austria. Number of flights to Japan and Korea would also be increased, he said. Bureau Report
