Kathmandu, Jan 30: The United States has said that immediate cessation of terrorist activities by Maoists in Nepal is a "concrete evidence" that the rebels are serious about holding peace talks. "We support a meaningful dialogue to a peaceful resolution of the conflict," the US embassy here said in a statement.
"We urge all Nepalis to take advantage of this opportunity to work together towards peace," it said, adding "we reiterate our support for the right of the Nepal government to safeguard its citizens within the framework of the constitution." Bureau Report
