Hawala operator supplying money to Jaish arrested

Rajinder Prasad (51), a resident of Pitampura having
office in Karol Bagh, was apprehended by police for providing
Rs 20 lakh to JeM militant Noor Mohammad Tantray on August 27,
Additional DCP (Special Cell), Neeraj Kumar told a news agency .
Tantray, along with his associates Pervez Ahmad and Feroze Ahmad were arrested on august 30 with a large quantity of arms and ammunition in Sadar Bazar area of the capital.
Police also recovered 10 hand grenades, an equal number of grenade shells and one barrel grenade launcher from them.
Pakistani national Zahoor Ahmad, and Habibullah, killed in an encounter with police at Indraprastha park here on that date, were also part of this plan to carry out subversive activities, Kumar said. Bureau Report
