New Delhi, Dec 01: Uma Shankar Mishra, special Director in CBI, was today appointed as the new Director of the agency, an official announcement said here. Mishra, a 1968 batch IPS officer of Orissa cadre, will succeed present incumbent P C Sharma, who will be retiring on December six. His name was cleared by the appointment's committee of the cabinet, it said. Bureau Report
