CBI likely to register FIR in Taj case
New Delhi, Sept 20: The CBI is likely to register an FIR in the Taj Heritage Corridor case today. The country`s premier investigating agency has said that it is studying the order of the Supreme Court, which asked the agency to take appropriate steps against former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati and other state government officials.

Mayawati and others have been accused of alleged financial irregularities in the Rs 175 rupee crore project. Her government had sanctioned Rs 17 crore as the first installment for its construction.
