Ara (Bihar), Apr 18: Continuing their attacks on political parties ahead of the polls, the banned People's War (PW) ransacked offices of RJD and JD(U) at Imamganj Bazar under Ara parliamentary constituency yesterday, police said. The ultras numbering around 50 raided the offices of RJD nominee Kanti Singh and JD (U)'s Ashok Kumar Verma, vandalised the furniture and beat up activists of the two parties. They later fled away. No casualty was reported, the sources said.
The proscribed PW and Maoist Communist Centre (MCC), have given a call for poll boycott in Bihar and Jharkhand.
The PW torched the BJP election office at Lesiliganj under Palamu constituency in Jharkhand on Friday destroying poll related papers, posters and furniture.
