Congress to join forces with CPI in human chain protest

Congress high command has permitted Congress volunteers to participate in the agitation, TNCC president S Balakrishnan said in a statement.
Describing the assembly's action as a "murder of democracy", he said the state government was following the path of "fascism" and nobody who hsd faith in democracy could accept it.
Congress would hoist black flags in all its party offices on November 10 to register its protest.
Tamil Nadu unit of the CPI would also participate in the 'human chain,' CPI leader R Nallakannu said in a statement.
Makkal Tamizh Desam and JD(S) also condemned the resolutions.
