New Delhi: The winter festival of bon-fire and family indulgence is around the corner. Mostly in the northern region, Lohri is celebrated with dancing around fire with dhol, dressing up in bright colours and worshipping for better health and harvest.
People like to gorge on groundnut, sarson ka saag, makki ki roti and sugarcane kheer. Lohri is loved by all age groups. The festival that marks the end of long winter nights will be celebrated on January 13, 2017.
