New Delhi, Feb 15: The worldwide BPO market is likely to grow at an annual nine per cent rate, to touch one trillion dollars by 2006 from USD773 billion in 2002, according to an International Data Corporation (IDC) survey. The survey found 50 senior IT executives of Fortune 500 companies in US, who respondend overwhelmingly, preferring a blend of business and technical capabilities in the BPO service provider. On the future scenario in India , it said the BPO industry in India would grow at 54 per cent annually for 2002-06. The BPO services are expected to grow from USD2 billion in 2002 to USD12 billion in 2006. IDC lists out key factors which are important for the future growth of BPO industry. Focus on customer satisfaction and a constant trust to improve the existing client servicing levels are the top most key factors for future growth, the survey found. In addition, strong partnering and alliance strategies are also crucial for satisfactory service delivery. Bureau Report
