The directive issued by the All India Manifesto

after killing his wife and son in the metropolis recently.
The committee asked the government to "take adequate measures to improve the conditions and morale of the police force,” the sources said. The manifesto implementation committee meeting was attended by senior party leaders Ramniwas Mirdha, Veerappa Moily, Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde and MPCC chief Ranjit Deshmukh.
The committee has also asked the government to undertake housing projects for the police personnel, they said. The committee was informed that the government has fulfilled 50 of the 87 promises while work on 25 others was in progress. Besides, implementation of remaining assurances has begun.
Similarly, the committee was informed that the state government's initiative on watershed development would also help in tackling the problem of water scarcity in parts of the state, the sources added. Bureau Report
