Paris, May 10: Brazilian World Cup winner Ronaldinho is unsure whether he wants to remain a Paris Saint-Germain player next season, a news report said today. "I honestly don't know where I'll be," the 23-year-old was quoted as saying in a French daily. "I want to play in the big competitions and to win trophies, so we'll have to see," he said.
Prior to this weekend's round of matches, Paris SG was in eighth place in the First Division. The club failed to qualify for next season's Champions League, and needs to beat Auxerre in the French Cup final on May 31 to make next season's less glamorous UEFA Cup.
"What saddens me is that we could not finish in the top three places in the first division," Ronaldinho, whose Paris SG contract expires in 2006, added.
The inspirational forward is a transfer target for English champions Manchester United, runners-up Arsenal and Italian side Internazionale. However, should he decide to leave Paris SG, Ronaldinho is thought to favour Spain.
"Spain is the place where you have more space, it is the most technical league," he said. Bureau Report
