New Delhi, July 31: The Union Cabinet tonight cleared the environment ministry`s proposal to set up a national and six regional authorities at an estimated cost of Rs 21 crore annually to address specific issues.
New Delhi, July 31: The Union Cabinet tonight cleared the environment ministry's proposal to set up a national and six regional authorities at an estimated cost of Rs 21 crore annually to address specific issues.
The proposal to set up six authorities in Bhubaneswar, Bangalore, Shillong, Bhopal, Lucknow and Chandigarh was approved by a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, an official spokesman said.
