Los Angeles: Hollywood funny-man Robin Williams' widow Susan Williams said she forgave the actor immediately after he committed suicide last year.
Robin took his life in 2014, leaving his millions of fans, family, and friends shocked and grieving. He was 63.
The actor was suffering from, Diffuse Lewy Body Dementia or Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB), a kind of depression and after finding out the extent of his suffering, Susan decided to pardon him, reported People magazine.
"I completely forgave him, I completely understood. I was beside myself in agony, but he fought to the end and I didn't know what we were fighting, but I knew we were fighting hard," Susan said.
"Everything has made perfect sense. As painful as everything and this has been, I just keep following the next right thing and looking for the signs. I don't think those kinds of wounds ever actually heal. You just kind of learn how to manage them better and that's okay," she added.
Susan hopes raise awareness for the disease (DLB) by speaking out about Williams' tragic final days.
