MP BJP corporator quits over ticket distribution
Dhar, Nov 09: In a reflection of growing resentment within BJP over ticket distribution for Madhya Pradesh polls, BJP corporator Anil Jain today quit the post and the party.

Alongwith his supporters, Jain also burnt an effigy of Union Sports Minister Vikram Verma here protesting against the nomination of his supporter Sharad Vijaywargiya from Dhar Assembly seat.
Jain earlier resigned from the party and the corporator's post in protest, BJP sources said. Claiming that 200 other party workers have quit the party and joined him, Jain said the Hindu Jagran Manch, of which he is a prominent leader, would draw up a separate strategy for the December 01 elections.
Asserting that the BJP would win the polls from Dhar, Vijayawargiya, who is also the district BJP general secretary, described the opposition to his candidature as "natural".
