New Delhi: In India, worshiping of certain trees has religious significance. For instance, the Peepal tree is also considered to be having religious significance, and hence worshiped.

The tree is believed to have astrological significance as well. It is most closely associated with the planet Jupiter. Jupiter is considered to be a positive planet in astrological sense and its presence brings good luck.
