Indore, Nov 09: Supporters of former BJP MLA, Gopikrishna Nema here today gheraoed the Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Sumitra Mahajan at her residence demanding that the ticket given to an outsider in Indore-three constituency be withdrawn immediately Mahajan, who is the MP from Indore was gheraoed by Nema's supporters when she has reached her home in the Nandlalpura area.

They were demanding withdrawal of ticket to BJP candidate (Rajendra Shukla) from Indore-three constituency immediately. A police party was rushed to Mahajan's house to prevent the supporters from taking any untoward step, police sources said.
Nema told that his supporters had gheraoed the minister to demand change in candidature of Shukla, who is an outsider in the constituency.
Shukla belongs to Indore-one constituency and had sought the ticket from there only but political compulsions forced the BJP to nominate him from Indore-three constituency.
Nema said if the BJP leadership does not listen to Mahajan who is an MP from Indore then to whom they would approach. The supporters were asking Mahajan to go back to Delhi to press for the change in candidature from Indore-three constituency.
The BJP today declared its candidates for the remaining seats in Indore and as per the announcement, Usha Thakur was given ticket from Indore-one, Shukla from Indore-three and city BJP president, Mahendra Hardia from Indore-five resulting in dissent among the BJP rank and file.
