Weather God shows no mercy to Delhiites; Maximum again 45.6
New Delhi, June 04: Delhiites continued to reel under blistering heat wave conditions with temperature remaining above 45 degrees Celsius today.

The met office again recorded 45.6 degrees Celsius as the maximum temperature, five degrees above normal. The same temperature was recorded yesterday, which is the highest in last five years.
Delhiites also had to brave the hottest night yesterday as the minimum temperature recorded by the met office was 32.5 degrees Celsius, five degrees above normal.
The previous hottest night was in 2000 when mercury reached to 34 degrees Celsius on June 28.
The met office said that the heat wave conditions would continue for couple of more days before some respite to the people in the national capital.
Late night power cuts and erratic power supply further compounded the problem.
Delhi Jal Board has already pressed into service hundreds of water tankers to overcome the difficulty.
