Allahabad, Apr 26: Uttar Pradesh Samata Party of Hari Narayan Mishra today merged with Samajwadi Party. Mishra, who joined SP along with his supporters, announced the decision in the presence of district SP chief Jawahar Singh Yadav.
He said the decision to merge was taken to strengthen the secular and socialist forces and Mulayam Singh in his tirade against BSP-BJP coalition government.
Mishra, who had parted ways with Samata Party last year and formed his own party, said he would soon launch a campaign to unite the secular and socialist forces under the banner of Samajwadi Party. Bureau Report
