Thiruvananthapuram, June 30: Kerala Chief Minister A K Antony today told state assembly that investigation was on in the attack on the car of KPCC president K Muraleedharan at Kozhikode last night. Replying to a submission of P P George (Congress), Antony said a case had been registered in connection with the Incident and probe was on to apprehend the culprits.
George alleged that Muraleedharan's car was attacked by BJP activists and wanted the government to take stringent action against those responsible for it.
He said Muraleedharan had taken a bold stand against the violence in Marad and was at the forefront to restore peace in the area.
Intervening, speaker Vakkom Purushothman said government should firmly put down these kind of incidents of attack on political party leaders. Bureau Report
