July 18: Lee Bowyer is set to complete his £9m move from Leeds to Liverpool, both clubs have confirmed. Negotiations over personal terms had delayed the switch but the deal is now poised to go ahead.
The midfielder reportedly demanded a £4m wages and signing-on package.
Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier agreed a fee with the Yorkshire club and offered the 25-year-old a contract worth about £35,000 per week.

Bowyer earns about £17,000 a week at Elland Road. He is understood to owe Leeds about £1.5m after they underwrote his legal fees for the twice-held assault trial he faced after a student was attacked in Leeds city centre.
The midfielder was cleared to join Liverpool after telling new Leeds United boss Terry Venables that he would not be signing a fresh contract at Elland Road.
Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry said on Thursday: "We are very enthusiastic because Lee would be a good addition to our squad.
"It would be a good move for him, to be with other young players in the England squad." Bureau Report
