Gaza City, Aug 31: Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is the trump card in a suit of "wanted" Israeli leaders, according to a spoof of the famous us central command deck of cards for Iraq posted on a Hamas-affiliated website today.
Sharon is portrayed as the "joker" and is seen surrounded by two armed, masked men wearing green strips of cloth across their foreheads, a trademark of the Islamic Palestinian group.
The gunmen also point their weapons at the Israeli Prime Minister on a background which depicts an exploding bus.
Others on the wanted list include Defence Minister Shaul Mofaz, Labour Opposition leader Shimon Peres, Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former prime minister Ehud Barak.
The Israeli daily ‘Maariv’ also recently published a deck of cards showing the key Hamas leaders which the Israeli army wants to kill.
At least 10 Hamas leaders or top militants have been killed in Israeli air raids since a suicide bombing of a bus in Jerusalem nearly two weeks ago killed 21 people. The attack was claimed by both Hamas and the radical Islamic jihad group.
