Kolkata, June 20: Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee leaves for Delhi today to attend NDA meeting tomorrow, when she is likely to meet Prime Minister A B Vajpayee, amidst speculations of her possible accommodation in the Union Cabinet after missing the bus at last month's reshuffle.
This would be her first visit to Delhi after she cancelled her trip to the union capital on May 24 for the swearing in ceremony in which she was to rejoin the Cabinet after two years, but stayed away in protest against the move to induct party colleague Sudip Bandopadhyaya without consulting her.
Asked to comment, Banerjee said "I have never been concerned with being a minister ... There is a NDA meeting and I will join."
The TC chief maintained that her visit was also to tell NDA allies and other political leaders about terror and rigging of polls by the CPI(M) in West Bengal.
Asked whether there was any special significance of her Delhi visit this time besides attending the scheduled NDA meeting, a senior TC leader and party MLA who did not want to be named told reporters "I do not think anything has been finalised on her re-induction into the Cabinet. She will meet the Prime Minister before his visit to China beginning from June 22".

He said "Now she seems to be serious about maintaining her attachment to the NDA."
