Allahabad, Oct 21: With Pakistan refusing to accept its support to terrorism on Indian soil, Union Human Resources Development Minister Murli Manohar Joshi today suggested that New Delhi build up a strong international opinion favouring return of Pakistan occupied Kashmir. "With Pakistan not yielding on accepting its support to terrorism on Indian soil, the government should under the circumstance, build a strong public opinion at international level for return of PoK", he told reporters here.

Criticising Pakistan for spreading terrorism on Indian soil, Joshi said Islamabad's support to terrorist outfits was reflective of its "insincerity" to engage in constructive dialogue with new delhi to resolve bilateral issues.

"Pakistan is still spreading terrorism on Indian soil. Islamabad's consistent support to terrorist outfits operating on Indian soil speaks volume of its desire to initiate constructive dialogue with New Delhi," he said. The minister also came down heavily on countries like the US for "adopting double standards" by providing financial and military assistance to Pakistan despite knowing that it was supporting terrorist activities across the border.

Commenting on the economic development in the country, he said, it was on fast track under the leadership of Prime Minster Atal Bihari Vajpayee and could grow faster if cross-border terrorism came to an end and there was resumption of peace process between India and Pakistan. Bureau Report
