Nasik, Aug 16: Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray on Friday night came down heavily on Congress for projecting `foreigner' Sonia Gandhi as the next Prime Minister of the country and said he will strongly oppose any such move. Reiterating his stand to oust four crore Bangladeshis from Mumbai, Thackeray urged youths to work hard and make businesses so as to control the exodus of people from other states into the metropolis.
Criticising former Bihar Chief Minister Laloo Prasad Yadav's visit to Pakistan along with other parliamentarians, the Sena supremo said "Musharraf was still talking against us".
Making a scathing attack on DF government in Maharashtra, Thackeray said that despite being in power, the Congress-NCP alliance is facing problems due to difference in opinion.
"On the other hand the Sena-BJP alliance is strong even if it is not in power", he added.
