Coimbatore, Sept 22: Tamil Nadu BJP Executive would finalise its future strategy and plans to be adopted in the state, at its meeting today in nearby Tirupur.
Besides general political situation, the Executive would also discuss ways and means to strengthen the party at the grassroot level, particularly among the downtrodden and weaker sections, state unit president C P Radhakrishnan, MP, told reporters here.
The meeting would be attended among others by BJP national president M Venkaiah Naidu, all-India secretary L Ganesan, Union Ministers, S Thirunavukkarasar and Pon Radhakrishnan and senior state leaders, he said.
Claiming that 'the decision to be taken at the Executive will be a turning point in Tamil Nadu politics', he said the State Party Council will meet the next day at the same venue.

The meetings would also review the 'Rathyatra,' recently undertaken by him, Radhakrishnan said.



A core committee, comprising senior party leaders from the state, would meet central leaders, including Prime Minister A B Vajpayee and Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani, to discuss future plans, including the strategy for the next Lok Sabha elections, Radhakrishnan said.
