Madurai Nov 09: Over 200 members of Madurai Reporters Guild and employees of various media organisations today held a demonstration condemning the police for "barging" into the offices and houses of editors and reporters of 'The Hindu' and 'Murasoli' following sentences issued by the Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker. They also demanded withdrawal of the Speaker's order against six journalists. Senior journalists addressing the participants said the sentences had united the journalists all over the nation.
