Ghaziabad, Oct 14: Prohibitory orders were today imposed on the district in the wake of Vishwa Hindu Parishad's proposed march to Ayodhya on October 17, a senior district official here said. The orders will remain in force till October 31 during which carrying of arms or any other weapons or assembly of four or more persons at a public place will be banned, Ghaziabad District Magistrate Santosh Kumar Yadav said.
Taking out processions, playing laudspeakers will also be banned during the period, he said.
Making or selling of high powered bombs will be prohibited in the district while in the period between 6 am to 10 pm bursting of crackers will be allowed, specially during Deewali, Yadav said.
