Pune, Aug 12: An earthquake of moderate intensity with its epicentre in south Andaman region was recorded at 0257 hrs IST today, Meteorological Department here said. The quake with a magnitude of 5.3 on the Richter scale was recorded at latitude 12.13 degree north and longitude 92.7 degrees east, in Andaman region, about 2110 kms away from Pune, they said.
