Itanagar, June 28: An NSCN (I-M) insurgent, who had escaped from a police lock-up two days ago, has been caught from a jungle bordering Assam, police sources today said. James Jagoi alias Joy Thangkul, one of the two NSCN (I-M) cadres who managed to give a slip to police, was nabbed from Dupang jungle area yesterday by a police team led by Papum Pare district SP Robin Hibu during a search operation. Altogether eight undertrials, including two NSCN (I-M) cadres, escaped from a police lockup on Thursday after breaking open iron rods of a ventilator. Police had announced a cash award of Rs 25,000 for giving information on the NSCN escapees who were booked under the Arunachal Pradesh Control of Organised Crime Act. Bureau Report
