Hyderabad, Oct 07: In the backdrop of daring assassination bid by naxalites on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the state government is contemplating a thorough revamp of the security and intelligence set-up to make them fool-proof. Resuming his duties five days after surviving an attempt on his life, Naidu held a meeting with the police top brass at his Jubilee Hills residence last night to take stock of the situation and chalk out strategy to improve the functioning of law and order machinery. Expressing unhappiness over the glaring gaps in security drill that led to landmine blasts targetting his bullet-proof car at Tirupati on October 01, Naidu asked officers, including DMK general secretary K Anbazhagan, DMK treasurer N Veerasami, Ko Si Mani and former DMK MLA, N Periysamy.
