Kathmandu, Aug 03: An Indian national has been arrested at Nepal`s international airport while trying to smuggle rupees 3,94,500 into India, police sources said.
Kathmandu, Aug 03: An Indian national has been arrested at Nepal's international airport while trying to smuggle rupees 3,94,500 into India, police sources said.
Brij Bhushan Vanshal, a resident of Agra, was flying to Delhi from Kathmandu when police arrested him at the Tribhuvan International Airport yesterday during a security check and confiscated the illegal Indian currency he was carrying, they said.
He was found carrying in his baggage 147 paper notes with Rs 1,000 denomination and 495 notes with Rs 500 denomination, they added.
