The accused, Aravind, used to send threat e-mail to Modi identifying himself as some Muslim youth, official sources said today.
A resident of Chandkheda area of the city, Aravind is lodged in the anti-terrorist squad (ATS) custody.
Threat e-mail had generated heat yesterday in the wake of intelligence inputs suggesting possible suicide attacks in the state to disrupt the Independence Day celebration that began in the historic town of Patan last evening.
