Rivaldo indicates interest for Real move
Madrid, Sept 25: AC Milan`s unsettled Brazilian ace Rivaldo would be delighted to join Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid, but any decision about his transfer rests with the two clubs, local media reported yesterday.

"If Milan agrees to let me go and if there's an agreement between the clubs, I would love to play for Madrid," Rivaldo said in an interview with Spanish sports daily as. "Together with Milan, it's one of the best clubs in the world."
The Brazilian international, who recently stated his unhappiness at being sidelined by Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti this season, said his first duty remained to the Italian club.
"I would be proud to play for Madrid although I want to make it clear that i've got two years left on my contract with Milan and i owe all my respect to my current club. We'll have to wait and see over the next months whether the two clubs get in contact and reach an agreement about me leaving for Real Madrid," the 31-year-old forward was reported saying.

Last season, his first with Milan, Rivaldo managed a total of 22 league appearances but was omitted from the team which won the Champions League in May. His chances of regular
first-team games have been reduced further by the recent arrival of rising Brazilian star Kaka.
This season, Rivaldo has made just one appearance, as a substitute. He replaced striker Andriy Shevchenko for 15 minutes in the Milan's European Supercup 1-0 victory over FC Porto on September 29.
