The editorial in the latest edition of RSS mouthpiece said that any friendship at the cost of the country's territorial integrity cannot be accepted.
"In our friendship there is more of trust. But how much can we depend on China and Pakistan," it said. While expressing the hope that "betrayals" of the past would not happen, the weekly noted that while Chinese recognition of Sikkim as part of India was being talked in the air, Arunachal (transgression) has happened.
"China even refuses to grant visa to Arunachal Pradesh chief minister on the plea that it is part of China. The Ministry of External Affairs knows that whenever a senior Indian leader visits China, Beijing indulges in this kind of act," it said, adding, "India tries to gloss over such incidents but China keeps on reminding it."
